Move Objects from One Layer to Another

Use the AMLAYMOVE command to move objects from one layer to another.

You can also move objects between working layers and the corresponding standard parts layer. Working layers are the layers AM_0 to AM_12; standard part layers are the layers AM_0N to AM_12N.

Procedures
To move objects on working layers to standard part layers
  1. Click Home tab Layers panel Move to Parts Layer. At the Command prompt, enter AMLAYMOVEPL.
  2. Select all objects to be moved from the working to the parts layer.
NoteNo visual feedback indicating that the operation completed successfully is evident. For example, objects on layer AM_2A are to layer AM_2AN. Since both layers have the same settings, there is no visual effect to show that the layer has changed. You can however inspect the properties of the object and verify that the layer has changed.
